  3. This disk includes several interesting programs which includes:
  4.    PLANS- is a drafting or CAD program with commercial quality ideas.
  5. This program uses the inter-lace mode, so that a device is recquired
  6. to decrease inter-lace jitter. Satisfactory results do not recquire
  7.  expensive hardware or multi-sync monitors. I have a product called
  8. 'Jitter-Rid', which is a smoked plexiglass screen that fastens to the
  9. monitor. The use of Polaroid sunglasses will make this program
  10. bearable. NOTE this programs recquires that a file called ARP.LIBRARY
  11. is located in the LIBS directory on you Workbench disk. Use the CLI
  12. or a directory utility program to copy this file to your WB disk.
  13.  In the Utility drawer are three programs:
  14. The programs in the Utility drawer do not have working icons.
  15.   WHATIS- identifies what a file is such as text, graphics, program,
  16. or source files. This is a great aid to unidentified files you don't
  17. know what they are. Documentation is included, also this program 
  18. recquires ARP.LIBRARY file located on this disk.
  19.    LS- version 4.0, is a command that can replace the DIR/LIST
  20. command loacted in the 'C' directory. It shows directories and files
  21. located in directories/sub-directories. It has an auto-pause feature
  22. that prevents files from scrolling off your screen. Read the
  23. documentation for other features
  24.   DISKSALVE- a program to salvage damaged files on a disk, if it is 
  25. possible to recover the file this program can accomplish this. I am
  26. not referring to physically damaged disks. But errors that can occurr
  27. when trying to exceed the disk capacity, or removing a disk
  28. prematurely. This program has a better chance than the DiskDoctor
  29. program located on Workbench disks. The programmer is well known in
  30. the Amiga community.
  31.  In the Basic drawer is an excellent program by Jim Butterfield
  32. called AMORTIZE, this program recquires Amiga Basic. This program
  33. calculates American and Canadian methods of loans and mortgages. You
  34. enter the necessary data to calculate the loan costs. No document-
  35. ation is included, but it isn't needed!
  36.  In the Animation drawer is a program called CPU-SHOWDOWN. A humorous
  37. animation showing the Amiga's ability.
